The BEST Salsa Recipe Ever!

Our two jalapeno plants have been working overtime giving us so many tasty peppers. Here’s a dynamite salsa recipe that will keep you coming back for more.

I make this every time we have a get together and it is always a hit.

The Best Salsa Ever

6 roma tomatoes, chopped

1 cup finely diced onion

2-3 jalapenos, or to taste

1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tsp high-quality salt

4 tsp lime juice

In a medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, onion, peppers, cilantro, salt, and lime juice. Chill for one hour before serving, or just eat it right away (which is probably what will happen).

Serve with organic corn chips or better yet, fry your own tortilla chips.

In the video, I used Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Tortillas but Alvarado Street Sprouted Grain Tortillas are much better. They are just scrumptious when you fry them in coconut oil!

The knife used is a Kyocera Ceramic Revolution.  Very sharp.

What kind of recipes do you have for using up all your jalapenos?

  1. In OUR house, no matter the recipe, you can NEVER go wrong with cilantro and lime!
Your recipe is almost exactly what we use…though we add garlic, or if I can finagle some, ramps from WV.

The one recipe for using up jalapenos that comes to mind is our candied jalapenos here:

You can substitute fresh sliced for the pickled ones, and add a couple tablespoons of vinegar while cooking. Always the best sellers when we offered them for sale. Use them on hamburgers or hot dogs, or our favorite way, mix a half-pint with a full block of cream cheese and eat it as a dip.

And have you tried dicing them, then dehydrating them? I love having dried diced jalapenos around for quick add-ins for soups, eggs and such…

  2. Oh yes! Garlic, I’ll have to try that. 🙂 What is ramps? The sour cream dip sounds really good- definitely gonna give that a try. I have never tried dehydrating them. Do you think I could do that in the oven?

  3. Hola Yordi, comparto contigo, muy buen libro, lo mejor es que si comprendes que todos tenemos los recursos necesarios para hacer salir ese PODER SIN LIMITES, tu vida cambia de inmediato.

  4. I in addition to my pals were analyzing the great things found on your website and so immediately developed a horrible feeling I had not expressed respect to the site owner for those tips. All of the people are already absolutely very interested to learn all of them and now have actually been loving those things. Thank you for getting considerably considerate and also for making a decision on such exceptional resources most people are really desperate to learn about. My honest apologies for not saying thanks to sooner.
