We are excited about our new rabbits but Brian isn’t too excited about harvesting them.

Could you butcher these cute little boogers?

Yup. Tastes like chicken.

But then you already knew that, right?

Congrats! Always exciting when new bunnies are born and even better when Mom proves to be doing a good job. I agree the harvesting can be hard, but necessary.

Thank you! The bunnies are doing well and they have a great mom, too. Yeah, about the harvesting part…not sure how that’s gonna work out. :/ I try not to hang out with them too much so I don’t get attached. :(

Sounds like a good start. I am with you about not wanting to get attached. We are hoping to start raising rabbits for meat this spring. I know that my son can process them I just am not sure about how I will handle it all but if we want to eat meat I will have to find a way to get over it I guess.
